Small-Group Casting Clinics
Casting is the part people quit over. It shouldn’t be.
Our clinics are limited to six people, so you’ll get real, individual feedback on your cast—not just watch a demonstration from the back of a crowd. We start on grass or an open bank, where there’s no pressure and plenty of room to work through the mechanics. Once the cast starts to come together, we take it to the water and put it to use.
What we cover
- Grip, stance, and where the power in your cast actually comes from
- The overhead cast, broken down into simple pieces you can see and feel
- Loop control—why a loop falls apart and how to fix it
- Line management, false casting, and shooting line
- Roll casting and making a cast when there isn’t much room behind you
- The knots you’ll actually use, practiced until they become second nature
- Presentation—putting the fly where you want it, the way you want it
